We strive to bring you the best online experience with the best selection of products. We invite you to contact us with any and all inquiries, requests, concerns, comments, or suggestions. To the best of our ability, we will gladly assist you.
All prices subject to change at any time without notice. Current purchases in no way guarantees future pricing will remain the same.
All orders must be pre-paid unless pre-approved by Harbor Candle Company management. As a method of payment, we accept the following:
Money Order/Cashier’s Check
*For payments using Business Checks, please allow up to 10 business days for your check to process and clear through our bank prior to the start of production of your order. There will be a $30.00 service charge on all returned checks. This fee is subject to change without notice.
If you wish to cancel your order, you MUST notify us PRIOR to the start of production. All orders cancelled prior to the start of production will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee, subject to change without notice. All cancellation requests submitted after production has begun, are at management’s discretion and are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 60%. If an item you have purchased is backordered, we will contact you for your instructions on how to fulfill your order. You may either:
- Wait for your backordered item to become available prior to shipping the entire order.
2. Have the rest of your order ship separate from the backordered item(s) and have the backordered item ship separate when it becomes available.
3. Replace the backordered item with an item of equal value.
4. Cancel the backordered item from your order for a refund of the amount of the backordered item.
Harbor Candle Company ships nationwide to the United States via UPS or USPS, though we reserve the right to change shipping couriers at any time without notice. Because our products are custom-made products that are made to order, most orders are shipped within 5-10 business days with the average usually being seven (7) Business Days. With the exception of Wholesale and Fundraising orders which may take up to 2 weeks. Although we strive to ship our orders as quickly as we can to better serve our customers, this is subject to change without notice. Christmas season is our peak season, so ship times may be longer during the busy months leading up to Christmas. No orders ship without payment verification and receipt. We cannot ship orders to a Post Office Box (PO Box). Although our shopping cart may accept a PO Box as an address during checkout, our shipping courier will not allow it, so your order will be held in our retail Store or warehouse until an alternate shipping address can be determined. Harbor Candle Company is not responsible for delays resulting from our carrier’s service once your order has been transferred to their care. The risk of loss and title to items purchased from HarborCandleCompany.com pass to the purchaser upon delivery of said product to our shipping courier. If your order is not received within the time frame above, please contact us and we will provide tracking information for your order through UPS online.
If you live in the Massachusetts area and would like to pick your order up from our Manufacturing Facility and save the shipping charges, you may do so. Please contact us prior to placing your order so you can avoid the shipping charges at the end of the checkout. You may also phone, fax, or e-mail your order to us, and we will make it available for pick up at the location listed below.
The customer is responsible for the receipt of goods at the time of delivery. If the order is rejected or undeliverable by no fault of Harbor Candle Company or the shipping courier, the customer is responsible for all charges that may be incurred in the storage and delivery of their goods. All shipments that are returned to Harbor Candle Company due to refusal to accept or unable to deliver will be subject to a 25% restocking fee subject to change without notice. Orders with missing and/or inaccurate shipping address information that result in our shipping courier assessing us a fee to investigate and locate the delivery address are subject to an additional $15 fee. This fee is subject to change without notice and will be charged to the credit card used to pay for the original order. For orders paid with check, money order, or cashier’s check, Harbor Candle Company management reserves the right to either retrieve this fee through collections or allow the fee to remain as an open balance for assessment on the customer’s next purchase.
PLEASE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION DURING THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS… If you live in a very warm climate, tarts, votives, and jar candles may melt in transit. We will NOT be responsible for melted tarts, votives, and jar candles.
Damaged, Defective, Missing, Wrong Products
Harbor Candle Company takes great care in packing your order to insure that your product arrives in excellent condition. In the unlikely event of damage during shipping, you will need to save the shipping box, packaging material and product. The shipper may require inspection. It is the responsibility of the purchaser/customer to inspect their shipment upon arrival. OPEN ALL YOUR PACKAGES IMMEDIATELY AFTER DELIVERY! Inspect each product carefully for accuracy, leakage, damage and/or missing items. Any defective, damaged, leaking, missing or wrongly shipped product(s) must be brought to our attention within three (3) Business Days after receipt of delivery for a full refund or return authorization. If you fail to notify us within three (3) Business Days, you assume responsibility for the delivery and all products contained therein. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be allowed once the three (3) Business Days grace period has lapsed. Your item(s) must be returned in the original packaging and be marked with the return authorization number we provide in order to be accepted. Return packages received without a return authorization or not in the original packaging will be subject to a 25% restocking fee subject to change without notice.

Every Harbor Candle Company product is made with only the highest quality ingredients, and we take special care in preparing each individual product sold. All our products have undergone thorough testing by both our staff and our customers. We are confident that you will be satisfied with our products. However, we highly recommend that prior to purchasing a fragrance you have never tried from us that you purchase a single item to sample it first. We STRONGLY discourage purchasing large quantities of a fragrance you haven’t previously purchased from us to prevent ordering a fragrance you are not 100% satisfied with.
If you have purchased a product that for some reason is not what you expected, please notify us within three (3) Business Days and we will make every attempt to replace and/or exchange it for another similar product. Harbor Candle Company’s management reserves the right to decline returns and/or exchanges at any time for any reason. No refunds will be allowed for products not meeting your expectations. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges and any subsequent shipping charges associated with sending any requested replacement product(s) to you. If we have not heard from you after three (3) Business Days, we will assume you are satisfied with your product and will no longer accept returns and/or exchanges. Your item(s) must be returned in the original packaging (unless otherwise approved by Harbor Candle Company management), be free of damage and defect, and contain the return authorization number we provide. If you fail to adequately wrap and secure the products being returned, and they are damaged in transit, you will be responsible for any and all expenses related to their replacement and/or repair. Return packages received without a return authorization or not in the original packaging will be subject to a 25% restocking fee subject to change without notice. Please specify why the items are being returned and which item of equal or greater value you wish to replace it with.
If you return an item that has been utilized in any way, it will be shipped back to you and you will be charged for return shipping. You must CONTACT US for a return authorization number before returning your package. Harbor Candle Company management reserves the right to accept or decline any return/exchange request at any time for any reason. Harbor Candle Company may, at management’s discretion, assign a restocking fee of up to 25% on any return/exchange request. Return packages received without a return authorization will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Harbor Candle Company takes the privacy of our customer’s personal and financial information very seriously. All information obtained by Harbor Candle Company during your transaction is held in the strictest of confidence. All personal and financial data obtained during online checkout is done through a third party vendor using the latest data security and encryption methods over a SSL network, and as such, is obscured and secured for your security and privacy. Any customer information we retain onsite is either held under lock and key with limited access or contained on a secured computer with password protection, also under lock and key with limited access.
Harbor Candle Company will not release the information you provide to any outside agency for any reason at any time. We will only release private information with express written consent from you or when required by law under the direction and authority of a court order signed by a judge in a lawful court jurisdiction.
If, for some reason, you feel the information and/or data you have provided us has been misused, abused, wrongly accessed, or otherwise corrupted as a result of our action or inaction, please NOTIFY US immediately so that we can begin an investigation and take corrective action.
All customized labels designed by and created by Harbor Candle Company and its employees are the property of Harbor Candle Company. As a condition of sale, Harbor Candle Company extends to the purchaser of each custom label the right and permission to photograph products with their label on them for the purpose of posting on the Internet and other media to display for sale to their customers. As a condition of sale, Harbor Candle Company reserves the right to reproduce all labels created by Harbor Candle Company for posting on its website and other media for use as examples for reference for existing and future customers. All labels designed and created by Harbor Candle Company are protected by United States copyright law and are not to be reproduced without the express written permission of Harbor Candle Company, except as stated herein.
Custom Label customers should be aware, though; that all packages shipped from our facility will have a return address showing 89 Globe Mills Ave, Fall River, MA OR P.O. Box 70339, North Dartmouth, MA on the package. This is a requirement of our shipping agent, and cannot be altered. Because of this, Harbor Candle Company will not be responsible if your customers learn that we are your supplier.
Additionally, “Harbor Candle Company” is a legally protected trademark and trade name and as such, no purchaser shall be permitted to represent the name “Harbor Candle Company” or any of its subsidiary companies as its own or that it has any ownership in said trademark and/or trade name other than set forth herein. All pictures, graphics, and logos contained on all pages and sub-pages of this website are copyright protected by Harbor Candle Company and may not be duplicated or reproduced without express written permission.
Customer’s who use Harbor Candle Company’s Custom Label service prior to the execution of a Fundraising Agreement will receive brochures and order forms depicting Harbor Candle Company’s logo and name on the forms. Brochures and order forms designed by Harbor Candle Company shall remain the property of Harbor Candle Company and are protected under United States copyright law and are not to be reproduced without the express written permission of Harbor Candle Company, except as stated herein. Such brochures and forms will be kept on file by Harbor Candle Company for future use by Customer in future fundraising events at no additional cost.
All fundraising documents designed by and created by Harbor Candle Company and its employees are the property of Harbor Candle Company. As a condition of sale, Harbor Candle Company extends to the purchaser of each fundraising document the right and permission to photograph products with their labels and/or logos on them for the purpose of posting on the Internet and other media to display for sale to their customers. As a condition of sale, Harbor Candle Company reserves the right to reproduce all documents created by Harbor Candle Company for posting on its website and other media for use as examples for reference for existing and future customers.

This may include, but is not limited to: fragrances, coloring, glass and plastic containers, wax, and other core ingredients. If such a change is made, the finished product may be slightly different than what you may have previously purchased. In this case, Harbor Candle Company does not warrant or guarantee the product beyond what is covered above within the “Satisfaction Guarantee” clause.
Harbor Candle Company reserves the right to change pricing at any time without notice and is not responsible for incorrect pricing on the https://harborcandlecompany.com website.
